Meet our Primary Care Physician
I'm Dr. Heather Jackson, MD
I’m a board-certified family medicine physician and founder of Become Health.
When COVID shut the world down, I saw firsthand the importance of connection. Beekeeping became a passion that taught me the value of community, growth, and nurturing—all principles that deeply resonate with my approach to healthcare.
As I cared for my hive, I admired how every bee had a unique role in sustaining the community. Similarly, I strive to support my patients in becoming their best selves by nurturing physical, emotional, and social well-being.
At Become Health, we’re here to help you and your family grow, thrive, and reach your full potential through personalized and compassionate care.

Outside of work, Dr. Jackson stays busy wrangling her four kids, two bunnies, and an impressive 60,000 bees (yes, you read that right!).
She loves seeing entire families and especially serving the women in those families.
Dark chocolate chip cookies are her kryptonite.
Her hobbies include swimming, skiing, yoga, singing, playing the piano and viola, crafting, beekeeping, and traveling—though she often jokes that her real talent is getting distracted by a new project.

My Story
Obsessed with the Process of Becoming
When COVID shut the world down, many people experienced sudden and stark isolation. I was so grateful to still have my work and my connection to my patients. In addition to my work as a physician and mother, I became a beekeeper.
As I stood in my bee suit, feeling the buzz and thrum of my first hive, I admired the community the hive is. Every bee had a special job to perform, and each was important to the thriving of the hive. I found myself mesmerized by the transformation of these tiny eggs into life-giving bees that not only work to produce wax and honey but sustain nearly 1/3 of our food source via pollination.
COVID and beekeeping emphasized to me the vital importance of community, personal development and growth, hard work, and nurturing that are essential for humans to thrive. In a similar way, I want to support my patients in growing, transforming, and being whole so that they can become their best selves.

Message to My Previous Patients

It has been a sacred privilege to witness your pain, healing, triumphs, and progress. Thank you for trusting me with some of your most intimate moments—from celebrating new life with over 300 baby deliveries to watching those little ones grow and being so involved in your lives.
